Kyle Mitchell joins the Eagles as the Academy Coordinator at The Golf Room and a lifelong product of the junior golf pathway. Kyle understands firsthand what it takes to succeed in competitive golf.
A local graduate of Olentangy Liberty High School, Kyle developed into one of the top junior golfers in the state before continuing his career at Marshall University, where he was a four-year letter winner. He earned his degree in Business Management and Marketing and brings a player-centered perspective that emphasizes performance, preparation, and long-term development. Kyle is passionate about equipping student-athletes with the tools they need to maximize their potential and enjoy the game at a high level.
Carson Stone joins New Albany as an instructor at The Golf Room with an elite background in coaching, fitting, and performance. Carson has built a national reputation for helping golfers perform at their best, highlighted by recognition as a GRAA PGA Magazine Top 100 Teacher (2026) and inclusion among Golf Digest’s Best Teachers in Every State.
His professional experience includes serving as a Tour Club Fitter and Coach at TaylorMade’s Kingdom of Golf and founding the Bluegrass Golf Academy, where he developed players across a wide range of competitive levels.
