New Albany Athletics is proud to celebrate Assistant Athletic Director Crickett Anderson on being named the 2026 Middle School Athletic Director of the Year by the Central Ohio Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association.

This honor recognizes Anderson’s outstanding leadership, commitment to educational athletics, and the meaningful impact she has made on student-athletes, coaches, and the broader school community.

In her role, Anderson has been instrumental in shaping a middle school athletics program that emphasizes not only competitive excellence, but also character development, sportsmanship, and a positive student-athlete experience. Her ability to build strong relationships with coaches, support staff, and families has helped create an environment where students feel supported and challenged to grow.

Anderson’s attention to detail and organizational leadership have elevated the day-to-day operations of the program, ensuring that events run smoothly and that student-athletes are provided with high-quality opportunities to compete and develop. More importantly, she consistently keeps the focus where it belongs...on the well-being and growth of the students she serves.

Her recognition by her peers across Central Ohio is a reflection of the respect she has earned within the profession. It also speaks to the standard of excellence she brings to her work each day.
